Jesse Cracknell D.C., C.C.S.P.
Dr. Jesse was born on the island of O'ahu, Hawaii in 1973 to mother Bette and father Richard Cracknell who lived in Waimanalo at the time. After growing up between Hawai'i and San Diego, CA, Dr. Jesse graduated high school on the island of Kaua'i and proceeded to earn his Bachelors of Arts Degree from University of Hawaii at Manoa with a major is Asian Studies. Dr. Jesse traveled abroad for over a year after graduation before returning to the U.S.A. to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, CA in 1999.
Dr. Jesse being raised around a family of triathletes and a triathlete himself chose to concentrate his studies in Sports Chiropractic. During his time as and undergraduate at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Dr. Jesse worked as a massage therapist with the majority of his clients coming from the University athletic department. Upon seeing the many soft tissue disorders whose root cause was joint dysfunction and subluxuation of the spinal vertebrae and outlying extremities, Dr. Jesse chose to extend his studies of the human body to chiropractic health care.
Dr. Jesse met Dr. Patrick Michael Leahy who had established Active Release Technique (A.R.T.) which is a system of care designed to specifically address soft tissue disorders and injuries. The A.R.T. system was offered outside the Chiropractic college system but was a worthy addition to the study of human biomechanics. Knowing the importance of integrating joint and soft tissue care Dr. Jesse began training in A.R.T. while continuing his studies at Palmer West. Dr. Jesse was a member of the sports council and had the wonderful opportunity to attend sporting events and provide first aid and chiropractic care to the atheletes of the bay area community. As a member of the A.R.T. Ironman Pro Care Team Dr. Jesse had the opportunity to volunteer at six Ironmans, four of which being the Kona World Championships. Dr. Jesse continues to seek self improvement within his practice and life by attending continuing education seminars in such topics as pediatrics, sports and neurology.
